Have you recovered from the episode last week? In our opinion, biased as it is, Batwoman is really hitting its stride post Crisis! Tonight, a new threat is about to reek havoc on Gotham, a vampire! All this while Kate grieves for the loss of another version of her sister and Alice becoming even more dangerous. Luke is also going to have to deal with seeing Beth die in his arms! This sounds like a formula for another great episode of Batwoman! Here's what stood out to us:
- Jacob is Released: The city believes that Alice is dead. Sophie watched her get shot so that information is out there. At the morgue, Jacob and Sophie see Beth and there's nothing more to conclude than someone else shot and killed Alice. The only lead on the real killer comes from Luke who saw a vehicle that belonged to the real shooter (who we know to be Mouse's father).
- A Vampire?: Nocturna is hunting people through clubs. Batwoman sets up a trap to watch the clubs and runs into Nocturna. After a brief battle, Batwoman is bit and the bite contains a sedative. She is strung up like a victim but Sophie arrives to see her. She frees Batwoman but tells her that this will be the last time that she will free her. She'll bring her in if it happens again. Nocturna escapes with the blood she took from her victim but the Crows get there in time so she doesn't die.
- Crows New Competition: Ketamine is identified as the drug in Nocturna's fangs. They can't get anything from the suit though so Kate decides to spring a trap and open her bar. The Crows, now under commander Kane's authority, notes that the Crows are losing clients because of Batwoman. He wants to capture Nocturna before Batwoman can to give the Crows more credibility. Sophie is tasked with heading to the club opening to monitor for Nocturna. Just then, Mary sets Sophie up with who they think Nocturna is. Kate heads to intercede.
- Alice Arrives: Alice thinks that Kate has Mouse. She goes to her club to confront her. Once they cover that Kate doesn't have Mouse, they hash it out about what Kate chose. Alice knows that she means nothing to Kate but Kate pleads again for her to have a second chance. Alice now won't let Kate get into her head. Just as Alice retreats to her lair she is captured by Nocturna. Nocturna wants to bleed Alice of all her blood. Kate and Luke determine through the cameras on Alice who Nocturna is. Batwoman is able to get to Alice before she dies but Alice has convinced Nocturna to go after another victim. Mary goes to assist a drunk woman when Nocturna strikes.
- Gotham Cathedral: Batwoman heads to stop Nocturna but Alice goes too. Mary is losing a lot of blood. Alice volunteers to do an on-the-spot transfusion. Batwoman makes quick work of Nocturna and locks her in the top of the Cathedral. Batwoman calls Sophie to tell her where Nocturna is but Jacob is in the middle of reprimanding Sophie for letting Batwoman go. Jacob suspends Sophie until she can figure out what team she is on.
In the final wrap up moments from the episode, Kate goes to visit Mary in her own clinic. Mary tells Kate that Nocturna was put on to Mary because of her cure-all blood. Kate heads to Alice's hideout to confront her. Kate wants to know why she saved Mary. Alice does it to show some good might still be left in her but Kate walks away ready finally to be done with her. The Wonderland gang then gives Alice the heads up on the Doctor who visited Mouse. The Ketamine lead however, leads Mary to believe Kate is Batwoman. Sophie turns on the Bat Signal and has a talk with Batwoman on the roof. In the last twist, Sophie pulls a Lois Lane and falls for the hero not knowing who she is. The two share a kiss on the roof.

I read your review in the forum. Very detailed and well written.
I am not 100% sure about that! Maybe Kate and Luke can make up some explanation why her clues doesn't lead to her being Batwoman
