Whoa, ok so sometimes we get very little when it comes from synopsis. That is NOT the case here, there is a lot to digest. The first of which is, a former hero of Gotham is returning to settle a score!? Who could this be? Robin? Nightwing? Heck Alfred even? Very excited for this. Additionally, we see that Alice is wielding two henchmen now using both Mouse and Hush to further her plans to kill Batwoman but she is having a hard time keeping them both in line! Commander Kane is going to have a final stand-off with Batwoman as well and Kate might be more than heartbroken by his choices ... WOW this wasn't even the planned season finale and we are already amazed! This sounds incredible!
SEASON FINALE – When one of Gotham’s former heroes returns to his old stomping grounds to settle a score, both Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Commander Kane (Dougray Scott) find themselves on the defensive. Meanwhile, Alice (Rachel Skarsten) has uncovered what could finally take down Batwoman, but she is losing hold on her henchman Mouse (guest star Sam Littlefield) and Hush (guest star Gabriel Mann), sending her spiraling into her most wicked self. Luke (Camrus Johnson) immediately focuses on finding a way to protect Batwoman from Alice, and Mary (Nicole Kang) has a chance to be the sister Kate has needed all along. New information surfaces, forcing Julia (guest star Christina Wolfe) to warn Sophie (Meagan Tandy) about the person pulling the strings. And in a final standoff, when Commander Kane refuses to retreat from his war on Batwoman, Kate may find herself more than heartbroken by her father’s choices. Amanda Tapping directed the episode written by Holly Henderson and Don Whitehead (#120). Original airdate 5/17/2020.

IMDB lists the episode title as "O, Mouse!" According to the list of guest stars, Titan will be making an appearance, and we will also finally get to meet THE Carl! Sadly, Christina Wolfe is still listed as a guest star. But then, Elizabeth Anweis is still listed as a regular, so...?
I'm quite interested to see how Mary is going to be helping Kate this time. Hmm, and Kate will be "more than heartbroken" by Jacob's war on Batwoman?!? I'm guessing this means something more than just his continued refusal to accept Batwoman's help. I really hoping one of our heroes doesn't die!
AMANDA TAPPING!!! Whoo-hoo!!
FYI, this same writing team also penned ep#3 (where we first meet Tommy Elliot) and Crisis Part 2.
The parents on CW shows tend to have a limited shelf life. You rarely see Alura on Supergirl. You'd think all those years apart would have them together more frequently. I hated they wrote off Moira from Arrow so early. I hope they don't repeat that mistake. The loss of Mouse would be impactful on Alice.
Damn, now I need to see the trailer for this one as this synopsis offer LOTS of interesting questions.
But first we shall focus on episode 19 on this weekend as it is promising as hell also!
In a really good way...

The main questions after this synopsis:
Who is that former hero????
What will happen between Batwoman and Jacob?
Will there be casualties?
What is Alice up to? Same for Mouse and Hush!
-
I expected that Mouse would some day act "against" Alice and would go after Batwoman.
But how? What is that weapon?
-
Also, I have the strong feeling that either Jacob or Mouse may not survive this.
Especially Mouse....as the title of the episode may be a hint in that direction.
Thanks for the additional information... most appreciated!
The title is O, Mouse.
Amanda Tapping also directed episode 6x18 of The Flash.I have a feeling she was probably scheduled to direct a season 6 episode of Supergirl if they had started filming in April as they had planned. But that didn't happen.
Amanda Tapping of Stargate directing adds to the awesomeness.
No title?
